Who We Help

At Healix Physical Therapy & Wellness, we help our clients of all ages with a wide range of orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, pelvic health, and sports-related conditions. Our individualized treatment approach is designed to reduce pain, restore mobility, improve strength and balance, and help patients safely return to daily activities, work, recreation, and sport.
Conditions We Treat

Back & Neck Pain
We treat acute and chronic back pain, neck pain, sciatica, disc injuries, spinal stiffness, postural dysfunction, and muscle strain. Treatment may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, McKenzie MDT techniques, postural education, and strengthening to improve mobility and reduce pain.
Hip, Knee & Ankle Injuries
We treat arthritis, joint pain, ligament injuries, tendonitis, sprains, muscle strains, and post-operative conditions involving the lower extremities. Treatment plans are designed to improve walking, balance, strength, flexibility, and overall function.
Neurological Conditions
We work with patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, stroke, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, generalized weakness, and other neurological conditions. Treatment focuses on improving strength, mobility, balance, coordination, gait, and functional independence.
Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders
Using evidence-based approaches such as LSVT BIG therapy, we help individuals improve movement amplitude, walking, posture, balance, and overall mobility. Treatment is designed to maximize independence and confidence with daily activities.
Pregnancy & Postpartum
We treat common pregnancy and postpartum conditions including pelvic and low back pain, SI joint dysfunction, diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, and urinary incontinence. Physical therapy focuses on restoring core and pelvic floor strength, improving stability and posture, and supporting safe, functional movement during and after pregnancy. Each plan is individualized to promote recovery, confidence, and return to daily activity.
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
We help patients recover following joint replacements, rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction, spinal surgery, fracture repair, and other orthopedic procedures. Rehabilitation focuses on restoring motion, rebuilding strength, controlling pain, and safely returning to activity.
Gait & Walking Difficulties
Patients experiencing difficulty walking due to weakness, neurological conditions, balance deficits, injury, or surgery can benefit from gait training. Treatment works to improve walking mechanics, endurance, coordination, and safety.
Shoulder, Elbow & Wrist Conditions
Our therapists help patients recover from rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and post-surgical conditions. Therapy focuses on restoring mobility, strength, stability, and functional use of the upper extremity.
Vertigo & Dizziness (BPPV)
We treat vestibular conditions including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), motion sensitivity, dizziness, and balance disorders. Vestibular rehabilitation uses specialized repositioning maneuvers and exercises to reduce symptoms and improve stability.
Balance Disorders & Fall Risk
Patients experiencing poor balance, unsteadiness, difficulty walking, or a history of falls can benefit from individualized balance and gait training. Our programs focus on improving stability, coordination, strength, and confidence during daily movement.
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
Pelvic floor physical therapy may help patients experiencing urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, pregnancy-related discomfort, postpartum weakness, and core dysfunction. Care is provided in a comfortable, individualized, and supportive environment.
Rheumatological & Chronic Pain Conditions
We treat a variety of rheumatological and chronic pain conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, lupus-related musculoskeletal symptoms, ankylosing spondylitis, and generalized joint pain or stiffness. Physical therapy focuses on improving mobility, flexibility, strength, endurance, posture, and overall function while helping patients better manage pain, fatigue, and activity tolerance. Treatment plans are individualized and designed to support long-term joint health, safe movement, and improved quality of life.
Age-Related Weakness & Deconditioning
Our geriatric strengthening and conditioning programs are designed to help older adults improve strength, balance, endurance, and mobility while reducing fall risk. Treatment focuses on maintaining independence, confidence, and safe movement during everyday activities.
